20 Minutes • Ages 3+ The price of an encounter does not include zoo admission Available Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Experience the opportunity of a lifetime with our NEW Capybara encounter! Come meet Chewy and his care team in Shipwreck Cove. This encounter will give you the opportunity to feed Chewy and learn from his care team what it takes to raise and care for such a unique animal. Feel the texture of his fur and see his webbed feet up close, then snap a selfie with everyone’s favorite Capybara! • There are 6 available openings for each encounter. This is not a private encounter, if you would like a private encounter you will need to reserve all 6 booking options. • Allergy alert: Our animals in Shipwreck Cove are fed a variety of food including fish, shellfish, nuts, and eggs. They may have residue from these items on their skin when touching or feeding them. If you have allergies to any of these items, we do not recommend participating in this encounter. Children age 3-11 must be with a paid adult (the minimum age to participate in an encounter is 3) • Children age 12-17 can participate with a non-paid adult spectator. Non-paid spectators must sit in the stands and are not able to participate in the encounter. • Cancellation Policy – There are no cancellations or refunds All encounters are dependent on the animal’s behavior. We do not ever force our animals to participate in something they are uncomfortable with.
