Get Involved

Our outreach programs are designed to bring animals to community facilities and events, educating people of all ages about these amazing creatures and how we can work together to protect them. Volunteers work closely with our zookeeper and aquarium staff, performing basic husbandry duties and exhibit maintenance. In addition, we offer various conservation opportunities to help protect the habitats and species that we care for.

Outreach programs are designed to bring animals to community facilities such as: schools, libraries, city and county events, police and fire departments, hospitals, scouts, retirement centers, and churches, for the purpose of providing educational animal experiences
